Descripción 

The Department of Spanish at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2024 in 19th- to 21st-century Spanish (Peninsular) cultures and literatures. The candidate should be able to teach a range of topics and genres and specialize in at least two of the following areas: postcolonial and Iberian studies, migration, environmental studies and ecocriticism, visual and popular culture, feminism and queer/gender studies. Knowledge of Catalan, Basque and/or Galician literatures and cultures would be a plus. The successful candidate will be expected to be part of developing and teaching a diverse and inclusive curriculum, including interdisciplinary programs and other college-wide initiatives such as the 360 Program and the first-year Emily Balch Seminars.
