Aims of the workshop:  To discuss recent developments in Second Language Acquisition, Language Pedagogy and Cultural Literacy applied to language teaching contexts. In particular, the invited speakers will present their research to explore how cutting-edge research can inform current teaching practice. 

The focus of the talks will be on Romance languages, but the approach to bridge theory and practice to enhance language teaching and material development will be of benefit to practitioners in any language.
