The Spanish and Portuguese section in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics at the University of Cambridge is seeking to appoint a Temporary Teaching Associate in Modern Iberian Literary and Cultural studies for 6 months starting on 1 September or as soon as possible thereafter.
The Temporary Teaching Associate will be expected to contribute to the teaching and examining of undergraduate courses in modern Iberian literature and culture, from introductory to advanced levels; to contribute to Spanish language teaching for beginners and post-A-level students as well as Catalan; to play an active role in the development of the undergraduate and post-graduate curriculum; and to contribute to the administration of the Section's activities.
Candidates will normally hold a PhD in a relevant field and show outstanding achievement and/or potential in research and publication in the field of Iberian Literary and Cultural studies.
