A competitive salary based on the Dauntsey’s PayScale for teaching staff, which is dependent on qualifications and experience. There are a number of allowances for staff taking on additional management responsibilities.

A motivating and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish is sought who has the energy and dynamism to assist and develop the educational experience for our pupils in our thriving Spanish department.

This is a full-time position to start in September 2024.

Requisitos 

Qualifications
Essential

• A relevant university degree (with an ability to teach Spanish to GCSE / A Level)
• Evidence of ongoing professional and academic learning

Desirable
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Ability to teach another subject in the Dauntsey’s curriculum

Experience And Knowledge Base
Essential

• Specialism in Spanish with a personal academic profile that will inspire confidence in pupils,
colleagues and parents
• Experience of teaching or training within the British education system
• Recent experience of GCSE and A Level teaching through current post or training placement
• Evidence of reflective practice and commitment to Continuing Professional Development
• Knowledge and interest in current educational developments
• Understanding of special educational needs

Desirable
• Experience of independent school and boarding education
• Experience of supporting applicants and applications for competitive university courses
• Good understanding of assessment and public examinations
• Experience of helping to run overseas language trips and willingness to support the department
in organising and carrying them out
• Familiarity with information management systems, such as iSAMS
