The Department of Language and Cultural Studies, Anthropology, and Sociology at Eastern Kentucky University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish, to begin August 1, 2024.

This is a generalist position, with interest in cross-cultural studies and experience with Spanish-teaching methodology and Latinx community engagement. Must be prepared to teach all levels of undergraduate Spanish language, culture, and literature. Preferred demonstrated experience with relationship-rich education, student academic and professional readiness. Will be expected to participate in promoting the Spanish program and in various departmental activities and campus-wide initiatives. Responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load with a student-centered focus.
