Editor’s note: The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the persistent health disadvantage of indigenous populations into focus, as well as the exclusion of indigenous languages from public health communication. In this latest contribution to our series of language aspects of the COVID-19 crisis, Gregory Haimovich and Herlinda Márquez Mora report on an ongoing project that aims to provide bilingual services in Nahuatl and Spanish in rural Mexico.
